What a great book to talk to kids about death. Death isn't easy to talk about with anyone, especially kids who really don't understand what is going on. Follow Tess through her struggles when she loses her beloved tree. She experiences some strong emotions but is able to work through her struggles when she decided to hold a funeral for the tree. Tess is able to see how much good her tree has brought to many others' lives and finally is able to come to peace with her loss.
